Fur Elite was established in 2004 by Dawn Hitt-Wilken who is the owner, operator and groomer. Dawn
graduated with honors from Texas AllBreed Grooming School in Arlington, Texas, where she trained intensively under a veteran
show and pet groomer. Dawn also raises and shows AKC Standard Poodles. She has finished two Champions, Shine and
Yogi (who are now retired and are living the good life), and is currently showing her bred-by dog, Rex. Her family consists
of two kids, a husband, three Standard Poodles and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. She and her family have lived in Georgetown
since 1990.
